Super honoured to be profiled in the March 2019 edition of Chickadee Magazine by Owl Kids. I recreated a scene from the Secret World of Og, which I’d done as a book report in elementary school. Book report covers were my “thang”.
Another (long) weekend has passed. Here are some updates on my series! I like to work on several paintings at the same time. Each painting defines the next. These two are emerging at the same time.
Meanwhile, this happened...
I have a show in July and it's already May...so uh...I guess I better get on that.
Here is a sneak peak on a new series of paintings and a small glimpse at my neglected studio. Nice to get back to the easel and the oil paints.
In this series of 8-12 paintings I'm painting the journey of a bear (never seen) from his mountain home to the rivers. Here are the early stages of the first 2 paintings!
Sorry about the bad photos. Only remembered to take snaps on my way out.
(Let's see how many projects I can juggle at the same time and see if any get done ever.)
Currently on the desktop at the day job. Stay tuned for the full series!
